Personal Thoughts. (Connor’s 0.2 percent)

First off, what a streak, right? I am absolutely loving this team and season.

We started the game pretty slow. It seemed eerily similar to how the Stephen F. Austin game started with us not being able to hit anything and the other team not able to miss. Luckily we tightened up on both ends of the court (less forced passes and tighter defense). The Blazers went back-and-forth with the Mean Green for the final few minutes of the first half, but North Texas hit a jump shot after a long offensive rebound to end the half.

Right out of the half you could see a difference in the teams demeanor and confidence. They started hitting more shots and making the smart extra pass. The defense was absolutely stifling in the second half recording 9 blocks over the course of the game.

Overall it was another great effort by our boys in green and gold. This team continues to fight through adversity and find a way to get right back in the game. I love watching this team.

Attendance was phenomenal tonight as well. The crowd was not just there but also participating as it was LOUD in Bartow tonight. I couldn’t help to smile while cheering on our Blazers. Keep it up!

Go Blazers!
